Tall, thin, hairy humanoids, the Elomin have pointed
ears and four hornlike protrusions emerging from the tops of their heads.
They can also be recognized by their tusked noses, wide-set, protruding
eyes, and the long hair behind their ears. With nothing more advanced than
slug-throwers and combustion engines, the Elomin welcomed representatives
from the Old Republic in years past. They accepted technological aid and
soon joined the rest of the galaxy among the stars. Elomin admire order.
They see other species as chaotic and unpredictable, and prefer to work
with their own kind.
During the height of the Empire, the Elomin and their world were placed under martial law. They were forced to labor for the Imperial effort, mining lommite for their Imperial masters. After the Battle of Endor, the Elomin took a place among the member worlds of the New Republic.
