The Jedi Code
There is no emotion;
there is peace.
There is no ignorance;
there is knowledge.
There is no passion;
there is serenity.
There is no death;
there is the Force.

"The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together."
- Obi Wan Kenobi

The name Luke Skywalker is synonymous with the New Republic and the restoration of the Jedi Order... and with the Force. A hero of the Rebellion, Luke is diligently immersed in re-creating the ancient ways of the Old Republic, and restoring it's peaceful ways. The ways of the Jedi.

"For over a thousand generations the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times, before the Empire."
- Obi Wan Kenobi

A dreamer at heart, Luke grew up on the sandy dunes of Tatooine longing for somewhere or something else. Little did he realize that his destiny would play a crucial part in the toppling of the Galactic Empire and it's evil Emperor, the redemption of Darth Vader, his father, and of the rise of the New Republic.

"I want to learn the ways of the Force and become a Jedi like my Father."
- Luke Skywalker

Obi-Wan Kenobi, the gentle hermit and Jedi Knight, introduced Luke to his awesome destiny, starting him on the path of the Light. Later, Yoda, the wizened Jedi Master would complete his training in Dagobah's murky swamp. Luke would confront his father and the Emperor facing certain death. In the end however, the good side of the Force won over, redeeming Vader from his hellish prison of black matte armor and finalizing Luke's status as Jedi Knight, guardian of peace.

"But how will I know the good side from the bad?"
"You will know. When you are calm, at peace. Passive. A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack."
- Luke Skywalker and Yoda

As Yoda instructed, Luke is now 'passing on' what he has learned. The Jedi will rise again...
