The TINYPLOT (TP)

No, not Toilet Paper.. (You thought you were so smart)

I'm going to blow up Pride-1!
That ship is sitting with its door unlocked, lets take it!
Let's go rough up the locals! - Various players

Tiny Plots are large scale, preplanned events which would be impossible to coordinate fairly through normal spontaneous play. TP's can either be planned by players, or required by admin for certain especially tricky situations. Currently, the following events are REQUIRED by the admin to be accompanied by a TP:

  • Stealing a ship while parked and the owners are absent.
  • Stealing a ship without the owner's OOC consent.
  • Destruction of any planet-scale MUSH assets.
  • Anything that would cause a game-wide disruption in the balance of power, such as assassination attempts on organization leaders or permenent capture of planets.
If someone is in doubt, they should contact RPA to see if a TP is necessary.
Note! -> More situations may be added to this list as needed. Please note that if any of the situations listed above occur with no TP submitted, they are subject to being retconned, with everything being reset as if it never happened. This tends to annoy everyone involved, so PLEASE remember to submit TP's!

All TP submissions are subject to getting the go-ahead from the MUSH's RP admin. They will do their best to return a verdict as promptly as possible.

Guidelines for Submission

While TP's are preplanned, they aren't scripted, nor is the outcome generally predetermined. Things aren't guaranteed to go the way the submitter of the TP intends. As others get involved, they often contribute and shape the TP as it progresses, providing the TPs creator with twists and turns that they might not have considered in the planning stages. A TP that goes exactly as its planner plans is rare, and no one should expect that everything will go just as planned.

A TP is simply a guide, for players to follow as events unfold, and for judges to be informed of all relevant details and background info while the plot is coordinated. Also, a TP is not an exlusive, standalone scenario. Outside spontaneous RP may become involved and intertwined with the events of the TP, promoting more RP across the MUSH. Send all TP submissions to sw-rp@starwarsmush.com

When submitting a TP, include the following info:

  1. What is the general plot of the TP?
  2. What is the goal of the TP? (Note that this may or may not come to pass.)
  3. Who is participating in the TP. Players, factions, etcinvolved.
  4. Where will the TP take place?
  5. When will the TP take place? Timeframe?
  6. Does anyone need to be OOCly notified of involvement in this TP?
  7. Do you need anything special from the administration for the TP to occur?
