MUSHing Terms

RP - Role Play. - Role playing is the term that applies to any actions that you do on this MUSH that are consistant with the Star Wars universe and are based on your character's physical and personal characteristics. Note that role play can occur both IC (within the bounds of IC space) and OOC (anywhere else). Please be sure to see SWINFO roleplay for more info.

IC - In Character - This is a loose term given to any role-playing that occurs within the defined IC bounds of Star Wars MUSH. It can also be used as an adjective describing any actions that meet this criteria. So what are those bounds? In general, all IC actions revolve around IC space. All ships and planets exist in space, and therefore anytime you are on any object in space, you are considered IC.

OOC - Out of Character - The generic definition of OOC is anything not IC. Basically, it refers to either building projects not in space or the OOC area around the Walkway (#100). Otherwise you are IC. We understand the need to relax and take a break from being IC. We recommend going to the Walkway areas via the +OOC command if this is the case. Any time you are in an IC area, you will be expected to act and react as such.

FC ---- Feature Character.
WTF --- Uhm... Did I mention this is a PG-rated MUSH?
